SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are looking for leaders across the world, passionate about improving livelihoods for those without access to clean energy, to work in our headquarters office in Fort Collins, Colorado and our regional offices in Kenya, Nigeria, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, and India.

As we are rapidly scaling business across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, we are seeking a Software Engineer to work with a fast paced engineering team to help develop high quality products that meet customer needs to ensure Envirofit is consistently producing the highest quality lowest cost clean cookstoves in the world.

ESSENTIAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Product Software Development
    • Develop and maintain a CRM that can be quickly deployed to new markets
    • Develop a tracking and scheduling system for dynamic delivery of SmartGas
    • Integration with mobile money and other 3rd party software
    • Develop WebApp and Android operational applications
  • Production Support
    • Design for scalability
    • Product enhancements
    • Deployment and maintenance updates
    • Documentation and QA tests
  • Support other departments
    • Provide metric reports and analysis
    • Provide integrations paths for automated tasks

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with web software and frameworks Laravel, Bootstrap, vue.js, node.js, less/sass
  • Experience in developing and integrating tracking, scheduling and inventory software
  • Application Development for Android and iOS
  • UI/UX design experience
  • Browser compatibility testing

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering or Computer Science degree from a four-year college
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience

TRAVEL:

Some international travel is required for this position
