On behalf of the Envirofit Team, we want to thank all participants for their submittal to the 2009 Envirofit Africa RFP. We greatly appreciate the time and effort taken by all organizations to develop high-quality proposals.
We are excited to update you on the development of the new Envirofit charcoal stove - The C-3300.
Like all Envirofit products, the new charcoal stove is currently being put through its paces in terms of durability, emissions, and engineering design. In-country market research provided essential inputs to our product development team, allowing us to fine-tune the design to exceed customer expectations. Preliminary emissions-reduction and fuel-usage numbers have been amazing...
It is Envirofit's aim to bring the highest-quality charcoal stove to Africa that our customers have ever seen, and we're getting very close.
The new Envirofit charcoal stove is launching in Africa in Q2 of 2010.
We will be announcing our RFP winners at that time - commensurate with the official availability of the new Envirofit charcoal stove. Envirofit G-3300 wood-burning cookstove makes waves...
The Envirofit G-3300 cookstove and its accessories have been selling very well in India and in pilot programs in Africa. This revolutionary cookstove, developed in partnership with the Engines and Energy Conversion Laboratory at Colorado State University and the materials Science and Technology Div at Oak Ridge National Labs, uses traditional biomass fuels like wood but reduces the emission of toxic gases up to 80%. In addition, fuel use is reduced up to 60% and cooking efficiency improved up to 40%. The EnviroFlame Combustion TechnologyTM is a patented design that helps make the stoves clean-burning, efficient, light-weight, and affordable; while also strong and durable.
